Dr. Kimberly Roset, a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M, grew up in the Austin area and attended Texas A&M University, where she obtained two bachelor degrees and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. While attending Texas A&M, she was involved in numerous organizations which furthered her knowledge of avian and exotic medicine and spent her summers in avian research. After graduation in 2001, she joined ABC Animal & Bird Clinic and has enjoyed seeing many different species of companion small animals. Dr. Roset also enjoys the challenge of feline medicine, dentistry, surgery, and ultrasonic imaging.
Dr. Roset experience goes way and beyond the line of animal medicine, from her attention to detail and her broad education makes her quite proficient in the medical specialties of surgical procedures and digital imaging diagnostics and evaluations for a better service to her patients and a proud member of ABC Animal and Bird Clinic.
Dr. Roset covers the spectrum of canine and other animal behavioral counseling and treatments that arrange from daily routines of a cause and effect to disruptive behavior, cognitive functions, swing moods, aggressive moods, separation anxiety, kenning issues and more. Just like humans need a balance that starts from a health diet and environment animals do also need a balance from routines to health habits but when it comes to mental health things can get out of hand and treatment from nutrition to medications can really improve the life of these beloved pets. In addition to a busy professional life, Dr. Roset shares her house with two young boys (Aidan and Ian). Dr. Roset is also an active parent of her two boy scouts in their ultimate goal of becoming a Eagle scout helping participating in camp outs fund risers and more. She has 2 cats who tolerate the humans in their house and 2 Australian Shepherds. Furthermore, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as gardening, scuba diving, skiing, cycling, and sailing.
