Dante’ was such a great surprise in our lives. We have always been a Weimaraner family and Dante’ was actually a birthday present for Donna B. from our very dear friend “Uncle Dan”.
Dan presented Donna B. with a purple folder for her birthday and promptly went back outside to his truck. As Donna B. opened the folder, containing all the AKC documents on Dante’, Uncle Dan came back in with the pup!
Basically REAL tough to keep up with!
We were thrilled! Eleven (11) Years later he is still a wonderful part of our family! An energetic, outgoing, wonderfully “Free Range” Dog, Dante’ is tough to keep in a collar, loves giving our “Tree neighbors” Mr. and Mrs. Squirrel a run around the back yard at every given moment, and is basically REAL tough to keep up with – and we love him very much.
Recently, he “bopped” his tail on what we believe was a fence nail in his monitoring of the “Daytona 500 Squirrel Races” in our backyard and required treatment. Fortunately, he is making GREAT Progress and only has to wear his “Tuba-Cone Head” Hat while he sleeps. He should be roaring again in the very near future thanks to the great treatment he gets at ABC Animal Clinic!
