Dear ABC Pet Parents,
As our state starts to re-open businesses for services, we’d like to welcome you and your pets back into our hospital! We are excited for things to slowly start to get back to normal. We are still taking proper precautions to safeguard you, our client, as well as our staff. This means that there are some new things for you to consider when making your pet’s next appointment. Starting MONDAY JUNE 1ST 2020, we will be resuming appointments in hospital. Please review the following helpful appointment guidelines:
🐾 You will pull into a numbered parking space and call us to let us know you’ve arrived. We will give you instructions on when to enter the building and what exam room has been assigned to you and your pet.
🐾 Only one pet parent will be permitted in the building for your pet’s appointment. We request you “sit and stay” on our exam room bench for the duration of your visit. Our exam rooms are tiny, y’all! So, appropriate social distancing is for the benefit of everyone! Our technicians and doctors will be in to ask you questions about the reason for your visit. Your pet’s exam will take place in our treatment area. We will go over all treatment plans and recommendations with you and obtain your consent. We will discuss our discharge instructions and answer any of your questions at the conclusion of your visit.
🐾 Masks/face coverings will be required, but luckily only for the humans! We learned the hard way – cats don’t like masks! Please come prepared with your own mask as we will be unable to provide surgical masks (which are being conserved for healthcare workers and surgical procedures). This requirement includes our curbside clients.
🐾 Be mindful of social distancing guidelines. Our lobby seating and retail area remains closed to the public. (yes, even Fluffy or Fido!) If you have shopping to do, just let us know what you need and we will gather everything up for you before the end of your visit. We’ll have helpful floor markers for you throughout our clinic.
🐾 Need food? Prescriptions? You can visit our online pharmacy on our website. Or, you can place your order by phone and we’ll run them out to your vehicle in our circle driveway! We require that you are wearing a proper face covering when a staff member approaches your vehicle. Just give us a call to place your order, pay by phone, and call us when you arrive! 281-495-9445
🐾 We will also continue to book curbside appointments, and drop off appointments for those who are not comfortable coming into the hospital. For the safety of our staff, having a mask in place to receive curbside services and drop off/pick ups is required.
🐾 Grooming will be OPEN for appointments! So, please call and ask for Theresa or Tori to get your appointment set up. We know its gotten hairy out there!
🐾 Staycation approaching? Date Night? Our boarding facility is OPEN and ready to entertain your furry, feathered friends while you schedule yourself some well deserved “Me Time!”
🐾 We will continue to close at 6pm Monday – Friday. Our weekend schedule remains unchanged.
All kidding aside, we really can’t wait to have you back. We sincerely appreciate all your patience, and continued support as we have navigated the pandemic. We hope we can continue to provide excellent, compassionate service to you and your pet(s), and we look forward to seeing you, socially distant and in a mask, soon!
