
Dr. Stephen Fronefield, DVM, DABVP – Avian
Veterinarian
Dr. Fronefield graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He also received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in chemistry while attending Auburn University. He opened ABC Animal & Bird Clinic in Sugar Land in 1995 and moved into their beautiful new facilities in 2000. Dr. Fronefield became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners specializing in avian practice in 1998. He is one of only seven veterinarians in the state of Texas that hold this specialty of avian specialization certification. He has a special interest in imaging techniques for diagnostic evaluation of his patients. This includes digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
Dr. Fronefield’s pet population at home consist of two poodles (Jesy and Kate), three Giant Geckos (Velvet, Hershey, and Spot) and two freshwater aquariums. He has two sons who are both in pre-vet med at Texas A&M. His wife works at home and behind the scenes to support clinic operations. Dr. Fronefield enjoys and appreciates the time he can spend with his family. He also enjoys camping, fishing, cycling and riding his motorcycle.

Dr. Kimberly Roset
Veterinarian
Dr. Kimberly Roset, a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M, grew up in the Austin area and attended Texas A&M University, where she obtained two bachelor degrees and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. While attending Texas A&M, she was involved in numerous organizations which furthered her knowledge of avian and exotic medicine and spent her summers in avian research. After graduation in 2001, she joined ABC Animal & Bird Clinic and has enjoyed seeing many different species of companion small animals. Dr. Roset also enjoys the challenge of feline medicine, dentistry, surgery, and ultrasonic imaging.
Dr. Roset’s experience goes beyond animal medicine, from her attention to detail and her broad education, she is quite proficient in the medical specialties of surgical procedures and digital imaging diagnostics. She is able to evaluate and serve her patients better and is a proud member of ABC Animal and Bird Clinic. Her favorite part of her job is that every day presents a different challenge.
In addition to a busy professional life, Dr. Roset shares her home with her two young boys (Aidan and Ian). She has 3 cats (Sampson, Apollo, and Calix) who tolerate the humans in their house, 2 Australian Shepherds (Cub and Comet), and a ball python named Snape. She volunteers regularly with the Boy Scouts of American and supports her sons’ goals of becoming Eagle Scouts. Furthermore, she enjoys traveling and activities such as triathlons, scuba diving, camping, and sketching.

Dr. Vivian Ho
Veterinarian
Beyond birds and exotics she is passionate about pathology and loves studying slides under a microscope.
Dr. Ho shares her house with a husband, 5 lovebirds, 2 budgies, 2 canaries, 2 corn snakes, 2 beta fish, and 1 very spoiled rotten house cat named Spot (Trekkies should understand!). She enjoys reading, naps on the couch, sewing, channel surfing, and eating the delicious food cooked by her talented husband.

Dr. Emily Rossi, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Rossi was born and raised in Texas. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She earned her DVM from Ross University on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts, and attended Texas A&M University for her clinical year. Her professional interests include exotic/pocket pet medicine and wound management. When Dr. Rossi isn’t caring for animals at work she enjoys caring for her own “mini zoo starter kit” Bendu an Indian ring neck parrot, Pippen a guinea pig, and Grogu a kitten she adopted from St.Kitts.
